Architectural Design Philosophy
Architectural Design is challenging; my goal is to give the client the best design with the least amount of expense. While projects can vary in size, I feel that smaller projects may contain as many opportunities for creative expression as larger works.
I also feel that design is an exciting process where the client and architect can share ideas and learn from each other to create the best possible solution to a particular objective.
Clients also need an architect for the tasks of filing construction documents with the local building departments. We have experience with many of the towns and villages of Southern Westchester including Larchmont, Mamaroneck, Harrison, Scarsdale, Rye, New Rochelle, and White Plains.
In general I have found that each town or village has a somewhat unique way of dealing with plan submissions. My goal here is to make these municipal regulations work with the design process as a whole rather than seeing them as obstructions to the work at hand.
We have always worked to establish a sound relationship with clients based on a complete understanding of architectural services. We also emphasize following up on client’s work thru completion, working with contractors, engineers and consultants as necessary to ensure a complete job with great results.
